WHY THIS SUMMIT MATTERS
This summit is more than a convening—it is the launchpad for the next wave of community action. By bringing together nonprofit leaders, researchers, practitioners, and activists, we aim to spark innovation, mobilize informed advocacy, and strengthen partnerships for shared funding strategies. Participants will not only gain critical insights from field experts and grassroots leaders but also forge connections that lead to sustained, local impact long after the event ends.
WHY THIS SUMMIT NOW
Odyssey World International Education Services, a Black women-led nonprofit founded in 2006, is committed to advancing equity, resilience, and community-driven solutions in Clark County. In 2024, we launched the Clark County Women’s Health Equity Report, centering the lived experiences of women—particularly those from underrepresented communities. The findings revealed deep health disparities fueled by systemic barriers such as medical harm, financial inequities, lack of representative care, and climate-related health risks. Addressing these issues is urgent, especially as publicly funded healthcare programs face unprecedented cuts.
